Brandy Murray
As the owner of Horizon Daycare, Brandy has spent over a decade creating a safe, welcoming environment for children and families in the Ionia community.
Since opening in 2011, her focus has been on hands-on learning, strong relationships, and helping every child reach their full potential.
Becca Thomas
Becca is a current college student at Adrian College, where she is studying elementary education and is an active member of the dance team. She is on track to graduate in December 2026 with a PK–6 teaching certification.
Alongside her studies, Becca works as a preschool teacher at the Baby Bulldog Center on campus, gaining hands-on experience and bringing her passion for early childhood education into the classroom each day.
Adrionna Melle
Adrionna is a dedicated infant teacher with a passion for creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for young children. She is currently pursuing her associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education at Baker College. Adrionna is committed to professional growth, building strong relationships with children and families, and supporting early development every day.
Crystal Murray
Crystal is an early childhood professional with 13 years of experience at Horizon Daycare. She holds a
Child Development Associate (CDA) in Infant and Toddler Care and has completed over 350 hours of certified training. Crystal is passionate about creating a nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment where every child can grow, thrive, and feel supported. She is continuing her education and will earn her associate degree in Early Childhood Education by Spring 2026.
Marth Hay
Marth is an early childhood professional with 8 years of experience supporting young learners and their families. She holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and has completed 215 hours of specialized training in child development. Marth is passionate about creating nurturing, engaging environments where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to learn. She is dedicated to building strong relationships with families and providing high-quality care that supports each child’s unique journey.
Cindy Hawkins
Cindy is a dedicated early childhood educator with over eight years of experience working with children. She is committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive and grow.
She is currently pursuing her associate degree in Early Childhood Education at Baker College to further strengthen her skills and knowledge. Cindy’s experience, dedication, and genuine passion for teaching drive her to make a meaningful impact every day.
